| May 5, 2008 Striper fishing was very good this past week. At this time we are using planner boards and down rods, we are fishing the boards at 10 ft. to 21 ft. free lining most and using 1/8oz. to 1/2 oz. weights, we are running the down rods at 12 Ft. to 28 Ft. with 3 oz. Weights, still using live shad, most of are fishing has been on the main lake fishing over open water. Bottom fishing is also producing some very good stripers, smallmouth bass and walleye, also on the main lake flats.
